Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and resolve hardware, software, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
• Install and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers, business applications, accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Monitor and troubleshoot networks, servers, systems, and infrastructure; manage IT assets and software licenses.
• Handle service requests, documentation, system upgrades, deployments, migrations, and IT projects.
• Assist with security controls, patching, antivirus, backups, updates, preventive maintenance, continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Coordinate vendors and procurement, prepare IT reports, support workplace technology setup, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT support, IT administration, help desk, technical support, systems administration, or a related role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, enterprise IT, and networking.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, WAN, and wireless networking; experience managing IT assets and user accounts.
• Strong security practices knowledge, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; able to support users clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ticketing-system familiarity is described as a qualification.

Preferred qualifications

• Endpoint-management, cloud-service, or cybersecurity knowledge is an advantage; experience supporting multiple departments, offices, branches, or remote users is preferred.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, ITIL, or other relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
