Customer-focused IT and cybersecurity presales role supporting the sales team with infrastructure and security solutions.
The role calls for technical knowledge of server infrastructure and virtualization and the ability to recommend suitable solutions to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and recommend IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
- Design proposals involving HCI, servers, storage, virtualization, and related technologies; prepare technical proposals, solution designs, bills of materials, and presales documentation.
- Support sales during customer meetings and solution discussions; conduct demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
- Support server configuration, virtualization deployment, troubleshooting, and technical assessments.
- Present DLP, antivirus, EDR, and firewall solutions; coordinate with sales, vendors, and technical teams.
- Stay updated on IT infrastructure, virtualization, and cybersecurity technologies.
Requirements and qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HCI, server infrastructure, storage systems, virtualization, and cybersecurity solutions including DLP, antivirus, EDR, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with server configuration, virtualization, and troubleshooting; two years of IT and cybersecurity presales engineer experience required.
- Experience in technical presales, solution design, customer presentations, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Familiarity with VMware or a similar platform; HCI solutions experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions; strong customer-facing, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; immediate joiners are preferred.
- A UAE driving licence is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is up to AED 4,000 per month.
