Role overview

Project and analysis responsibilities

• Oversee the software development lifecycle and document business needs, workflows, program functions, and technical implementation steps.
• Facilitate business and IT requirements discussions and stakeholder reviews; identify functional gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Work with product owners on Agile backlogs and user stories with acceptance criteria; participate in scrum events.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert through project implementation.
• Create process flows, technical requirements, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and models for development teams.

Application operations and support

• Provide Tier 2 support, resolve internal tickets, support upgrades, and respond to operational requests for enterprise-managed software.
• Troubleshoot, assist with triage, assess risk, and escalate incidents; manage application forms, fields, reports, dashboards, workflows, access, and searches.
• Keep users informed of issue progress and resolutions in accordance with internal service-level agreements.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and third-party providers on software needs and production issues.
• Participate in on-call support for critical after-hours application impairments or major outages as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration required.
• At least 5 years in financial or health services, including technical business analysis, product development, and process improvement required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or related field preferred.
• Agile environment or Azure ecosystem (DevOps) experience strongly preferred.

Pay

• Annual pay range is $84,400 to $95,000.

• Remote in California.
