Job Summary

IT Business Analyst – IT/OT

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops and meetings with end-users to identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop process maps, workflows, use cases, and system documentation.
• Act as the liaison between business users, vendors, automation teams, and IT teams.

IT/OT Systems Support

• Support and maintain Plant Information Management Systems (PIMS) and Operational Technology (OT) applications.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of plant IT systems with minimal downtime.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement enhancements.
• Manage system configurations, upgrades, patches, and software releases.

Honeywell & Industrial Applications Support

Baker Hughes Systems Support

• Support Baker Hughes operational and monitoring applications used within plant environments.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and system improvements with Baker Hughes support teams.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Manage system integrations and data flow between plant systems.

Software Development & Integration

• Develop and maintain web-based and desktop applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Design and develop interfaces between OT and enterprise systems.
• Create and maintain web services, APIs, and system integrations.
• Support database development and reporting requirements.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support operational decision-making.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.

Systems Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Analyze and resolve system incidents and operational issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Manage application lifecycle and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, patch management, and system governance requirements.

Documentation & Governance

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, installation guides, and user manuals.
• Maintain system architecture and configuration documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and digital transformation.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Participate in IT and OT improvement projects and initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting IT/OT systems in industrial, manufacturing, petrochemical, oil & gas, or process plant environments.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on .NET development experience.
• Proven experience supporting Honeywell and/or Baker Hughes operational systems.
• Experience in business analysis, system implementation, and software development projects.
