Role overview
The IT Business Analyst bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into technology solutions.
The role focuses on improving the organization's systems and processes in a restaurant and hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Clarify system requirements with directors and management for EPOS, online ordering, delivery, inventory, CRM, and reporting.
- Assess proposed IT developments and upgrades, including feasibility, costs, and benefits, and present recommendations.
- Evaluate emerging hospitality technology and advise on potential adoption.
- Support procurement, installation, maintenance, and use of systems, hardware, and network infrastructure.
- Analyze business processes and data flows; prepare functional specifications and test plans.
- Monitor network performance for reliable EPOS, ordering, and payment systems.
- Implement and upgrade EPOS, ordering, delivery, inventory, CRM, and reporting systems with directors and staff.
- Integrate EPOS with kitchen and bar operations, ordering, and delivery platforms including Just Eat and Deliveroo.
- Link stock data with EPOS sales data to improve procurement and reduce waste.
- Develop CRM functionality for customer records, loyalty, and targeted marketing.
- Build reporting and dashboards on sales, stock, and customer trends.
- Evaluate system effectiveness, propose improvements, and ensure GDPR and PCI-DSS compliance.
Experience and education
- At least 2 years of web development experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- English is preferred.
Workplace and hours
- Work location is in person.
- Working hours are 30 hours per week.

- Pay starts at £45,000 per year.
