Systems and infrastructure operations
- Monitor hardware, server resources, system processes, logs, application logs, and scheduled jobs, including backup completion.
- Perform daily backups, verify file-system data backup, create recovery media, and manage media recycling and off-site storage as needed.
- Administer printer and DNS servers with Active Directory; manage IT assets and system procurement from vendors.
- Provide level 3 support, investigate and troubleshoot issues, and repair or recover from hardware and software failures.
- Archive and purge files as needed; apply operating system patches and upgrades and update administrative tools and utilities.
- Configure services, tune performance, upgrade hardware, optimise resources, and configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions.
- Administer the ERP, manage cloud servers and backups, protect data integrity and security compliance, and produce weekly infrastructure reports.
- Coordinate with affected stakeholders and contribute ideas to improve IT infrastructure.
- Act as project owner when required, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing them.
Experience and location
- At least 3 years of IT Manager experience; the posting identifies this experience as required.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and Azure AD.
- Dubai is specified as the required location; work location is in person.
Pay
- AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
