ISR Training Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Define a contract-compliant training strategy incorporating Transfer of Technology requirements.
• Assess training needs and develop tailored plans; forecast facilities, materials, and digital equipment.
• Coordinate production and distribution of training documents and materials; manage the training schedule.
• Evaluate trainees, confirm qualifications, and maintain training records.
• Monitor contractual, safety, quality, and project compliance; identify risks and implement mitigation and recovery actions.
• Track costs and resource use against budget; analyze feedback and performance to improve training.
• Coordinate training preparation, delivery, and follow-up.

Qualifications and experience

• University or engineering degree; background or experience in railway systems.
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods and experience in training execution and training tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; fluency in English. Arabic is a plus.
• Communication, interpersonal, pedagogical, organizational, collaboration, autonomy, accountability, adaptability, and resilience skills.
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering training programs is sought; 10+ years is preferred.
• Experience interfacing with Metro, Tram, or Monorail Operations and Maintenance entities is preferred, with 5+ years noted.
• Experience as a training manager on a turnkey urban transport system project is preferred, with 5+ years noted.
