About This Role
Installation & System Setup
- Install irrigation systems including sprinklers, valves, controllers, pipes, and related components
- Support new landscaping projects with proper system setup and commissioning
- Work closely with the landscape team during installations
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Inspect irrigation systems to identify leaks, clogs, broken parts, or uneven water distribution
- Diagnose issues and carry out repairs or replacements as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine system checks
System Operation & Optimization
- Adjust timers, schedules, and settings to ensure efficient water usage
- Program and operate irrigation controllers correctly
- Monitor system performance and ensure healthy plant irrigation
Repair Works
- Repair or replace damaged pipes, sprinklers, valves, and fittings
- Ensure proper functioning of all irrigation zones
- Maintain system efficiency through timely corrective actions
Records & Reporting
- Maintain basic records of installations, maintenance, and repair activities
- Report issues, material needs, and site observations to supervisors
Tools, Safety & Compliance
- Use tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good condition
- Follow PPE requirements and company safety procedures
- Comply with UAE health and safety regulations on site
& Qualifications
- Proven experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, or landscaping work
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are an advantage)
- Good knowledge of irrigation components such as sprinklers, valves, controllers, pipes, and fittings
- Familiarity with drip, spray, rotor, and other irrigation systems
- Basic understanding of water conservation and irrigation best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety awareness
