Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced IoT Project Manager / Lead Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment of a centralized, real-time IoT monitoring platform for critical facility infrastructure.
The role involves end-to-end implementation of wireless sensor networks to monitor essential utilities—including power generators, fuel systems, water management, environmental air quality, and critical gases—ensuring seamless integration, automation, data security, and regulatory compliance.
1. Site Assessment & Pre-Deployment Planning
- Conduct detailed site surveys to capture technical parameters such as tank dimensions (fuel and water), generator specifications, and piping layouts
- Assess facility network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, 4G/5G, LoRaWAN) and power availability for IoT devices
- Evaluate installation environments, ensuring compliance with safety standards, spill containment, and emergency shutdown systems
2. IoT Hardware & Sensor Deployment
- Lead installation and calibration of industrial sensors, including:
- **Fluid & Gas Systems:**
- Radar level sensors, differential pressure transmitters, flow meters
- **Water Quality:**
- Sensors for pH, TDS, turbidity, and chlorine
- **Environmental Monitoring:**
Temperature, humidity, CO₂, PM2.5/PM10
- Deploy and configure secure communication gateways (cellular and LoRaWAN, including solar-powered systems)
3. Network Integration & Automation
- Integrate devices using industrial protocols such as Modbus RTU (RS485), HART, BACnet, and analog I/O
- Ensure secure data transmission using MQTT over TLS between edge devices and cloud/on-prem systems
- Implement automation logic including:
- Remote pump control
- Smart valve operation
- Generator integration (Star-Delta, DOL starters)
4. Platform Configuration & User Enablement
- Configure centralized dashboards (web & mobile) with real-time monitoring and reporting
- Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for different user levels
- Set up multi-level alert systems (Warning, Critical, Emergency) via app, SMS, and email
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
- **IoT & Networking:**
- Strong knowledge of LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Cellular, TCP/IP, MQTT
- **Industrial Instrumentation:**
- Hands-on experience with radar, ultrasonic, pressure, flow, and environmental sensors
- **Electrical & Control Systems:**
Experience
- integrating with generator panels, pump systems, and HVAC controls
- **Security & Compliance:**
- Understanding of data security (encryption, cloud vs. on-prem) and facility compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, utilities, or large facility infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with SCADA/BMS integration
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus
