Role description

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and manage investment opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and conduct financial and risk assessments.
• Develop and refine investment strategies and monitor portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams on data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare investment reports and support funding decisions for new platforms and technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in investment management and investments, including portfolio oversight and asset allocation.
• Advanced analytical skills for financial modeling, risk assessment, and market trend evaluation.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing investment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Knowledge of corporate finance principles, capital markets, and valuation methods.
• Proven experience in a senior investment or finance leadership role; technology or innovation-sector experience is ideal.
• Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• CFA or CAIA certifications are advantageous.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and support strategic decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate across teams.

Work arrangement

• Part-time hybrid role based in Dubai, with on-site work and flexibility to work from home.
