Investment strategy and analysis
- Develop investment strategies aligned with organizational objectives and long-term financial goals.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities across relevant markets and asset classes; conduct financial analysis, market research, and due diligence.
- Evaluate acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and investment projects; develop financial models, valuations, and investment proposals.
- Monitor economic trends, market developments, and industry conditions that may affect performance.
Portfolio, risk, and execution
- Oversee investment portfolios and track performance against financial objectives.
- Establish investment criteria, risk management frameworks, and performance evaluation processes; recommend ways to protect capital and improve risk-adjusted returns.
- Collaborate with senior management, finance teams, and external advisors on investment planning and execution.
- Lead negotiations with investment partners, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
Leadership and reporting
- Oversee investment reports, financial forecasts, performance reviews, budgets, capital allocation, and resource planning.
- Build relationships with investors, financial institutions, business partners, and industry professionals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop investment teams while promoting sound financial judgment and analytical excellence.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
- Extensive experience in investment management, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Proven experience evaluating investment opportunities and developing investment strategies.
Knowledge and capabilities
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation methods, portfolio management, and investment risk assessment.
- Experience conducting due diligence and analyzing financial statements, market data, and business performance.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, decision-making, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to interpret economic trends and turn market insights into investment recommendations.
- Familiarity with financial analysis tools, investment platforms, and reporting systems; CFA, CPA, or other finance credentials are advantageous where applicable.
