Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum four years of investment banking experience with a master’s degree, or seven years of investment banking or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
  • History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
  • Strong track record of executing buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financing transactions in an investment banking advisory role
  • A minimum of two years experience leading deal teams of Analysts and Associates
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients, senior stakeholders and deal teams
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing junior professionals
  • Personal integrity, sound judgment, initiative and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team orientation and the ability to work effectively across groups and regions
  • Previous sector experience in Consumer Retail preferred
  • Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $155000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
