Artane Partners is a capital advisory and placement agent firm based in Ireland, helping growth-stage companies raise debt and equity from institutional investors.
We currently advise on 20+ active mandates across renewables, infrastructure, real assets, and growth equity.
Our edge: we are one of the few European placement agents with deep, active distribution into GCC capital - sovereign wealth, family offices, and institutional LPs across the Gulf.
In a market where most advisors recycle the same Western LP base, we open a side door clients can't access on their own.
We're growing fast, and we're building the bench of senior operators around us to grow responsibly.
The Role
- We're appointing a small group of senior advisors to our Board of Advisors.
- This is a non-executive, hands-off seat.
- You won't be running deals, sitting on credit committee, or carrying execution risk.
- You will be the room we turn to when we're making the decisions that shape the next phase of the firm.
- Specifically, advisors will:
- Provide strategic guidance on firm direction, positioning, and sector focus
- Advise on hiring strategy as we scale the execution, origination, and IBA functions
- Pressure-test major commercial decisions (mandate selection, fee structures, geographic expansion)
- Open relevant doors where natural - introductions to LPs, sponsors, or operators within your network
- Join one quarterly call with the founding team, plus ad-hoc input on material decisions
Compensation
- This is a commission-based seat, deliberately structured to align with outcomes rather than activity:
- 5-10% of success fees earned by Artane Partners on any mandate that reaches financial close during your tenure
- Success fees only - no retainer, no equity, no hourly billing
- Paid on receipt of cleared funds from the client
- With 20 mandates currently in motion and typical placement-agent success fees of 1-5% on transaction value, this is a meaningful economic seat for the right person.
Who We're Looking For
- 15+ years in capital markets, private capital, investment banking, or asset management
- A network that includes any of: GCC institutional investors, European credit/equity funds, project sponsors in energy/infrastructure, or senior placement-agent / IB talent
- Comfortable being a sounding board rather than an operator
- Reputation matters - we're building a firm that punches above its weight, and our advisors should reflect that
