Role Overview
An experienced investment professional is sought for a fund focused on venture capital investments and technology-driven startups.
The role requires understanding of the venture capital ecosystem, startup business models, emerging technologies, and investment strategies.
Investment Analysis and Deal Evaluation
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, conduct financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence, and support deal structuring and execution.
Venture Capital and Startup Investments
- Assess early- and growth-stage startups, analyze business models and growth potential, and build relationships within the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
Fundraising and Investor Relations
- Support capital raising, identify potential investors, prepare investment presentations, and manage relationships with HNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Lead fundraising efforts and secure capital commitments for the fund.
Portfolio and Market Strategy
- Monitor portfolio company performance, investment returns, and KPIs; identify risks and growth opportunities; and support follow-on investments and exits.
- Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and investment opportunities to support investment strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment management, or technology-focused investments.
- Proven experience in startup investments, financial modeling, business valuation, and due diligence.
- Practical knowledge of fundraising, investor relations, capital raising, and venture capital deal structures.
- Experience preparing investment proposals, financial reports, and Investment Committee presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, financial, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.
- Experience raising funds from family offices, HNWIs, and institutional investors.
