Investment Analyst / Senior Associate on the growing Dubai investment team of an institutionally backed, DFSA-regulated hedge fund.

The position is based on-site in DIFC, Dubai, with some regional and international travel.
Key responsibilities
- Source, research, and develop investment ideas from screening through to a fully articulated thesis.
- Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses.
- Monitor existing positions for catalysts, risks, and changes to the investment case.
- Prepare high-conviction pitches and updates for the Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee.
- Run management meetings, expert calls, and channel checks to build differentiated views.
- Track macro, sector, and regulatory developments and assess portfolio implications.
- Work closely with trading, risk, and operations teams; mentor junior analysts.
Candidate requirements
- Bring 4–7 years of buy-side or sell-side experience, such as at a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or private equity firm.
- Demonstrate a track record of generating and presenting investment ideas.
- Have advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, a strong academic background, sound judgement, and the ability to defend a view under challenge.
- Have excellent written and verbal English.
- CFA or equivalent is a plus.
Desirable experience and skills
- GCC/EMEA market experience and exposure to long/short equity, credit, macro, or multi-strategy are desirable.
- Experience with Bloomberg/FactSet, Python or SQL, and Arabic are desirable.
