Role Description

This full-time Writer role is an on-site position based in WP.

Kuala Lumpur.

The Writer will create clear, engaging, and accurate content for various channels, such as websites, product documentation, blogs, case studies, and marketing materials.

Day-to-day tasks include researching topics related to Annata’s solutions and target industries, drafting and revising copy, and collaborating with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure content aligns with business goals and brand guidelines.

The Writer will adapt complex technical and industry information into accessible language for different audiences, maintain a consistent tone of voice, and support the development of content plans and campaigns.

The role also involves proofreading, fact-checking, and ensuring all content meets quality, style, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content for digital and print channels.
  • Experience creating content related to software, technology, or B2B industries; familiarity with automotive, equipment, or similar sectors is an advantage.
  • Ability to research complex topics, synthesize information, and translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
  • Competence in content planning and collaboration, including working with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, sales) to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficiency with common content and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, content management systems, basic SEO concepts) is beneficial.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and maintain high attention to detail.
