Overview
The Inventory Head for the bakery division is responsible for overseeing all inventory-related functions, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely replenishment, and effective coordination between production, purchasing, and branch teams.
The role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage a team of 15 staff while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
The position involves monitoring and verifying stock levels for raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and consumables, along with conducting regular stock checks, cycle counts, and variance analysis.
The Inventory Head ensures proper documentation of stock movements, maintains updated inventory records, and coordinates with production and procurement teams to forecast requirements.
The role includes consistent follow-up on purchase requests, supplier deliveries, and inter-branch transfers to prevent shortages or overstocking.
In addition to supervising and mentoring the inventory and warehouse team, the Inventory Head ensures adherence to company standards, food safety guidelines, and hygiene requirements.
The position also involves preparing daily and monthly inventory reports, analyzing discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and providing management with data-driven insights to support cost control and planning.
