WhizzHR is hriring an Inventory Taker / Material Inventory Controller
Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory Taker to manage and monitor material stock, including the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse/store.
The candidate will ensure accurate stock records are maintained and all material transactions are properly documented.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical stock counts of materials and inventory audits
Monitor and record material movement (incoming and outgoing materials)
Maintain accurate inventory and material records
Verify received materials against delivery notes and purchase orders
Prepare material receiving and issuing reports
Identify and report damaged, missing, or excess materials
Organize and label materials properly in the storage area
Coordinate with warehouse/store staff for smooth material handling
Ensure material availability and inform management about low stock levels
Requirements
Basic knowledge of material and inventory management
Experience
handling material in/out procedures
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer knowledge (Excel/inventory software preferred)
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle physical stock checks
Experience
Previous experience in material inventory, warehouse operations, or storekeeping is preferred.
