Full Cart Supermarket is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Inventory Controller cum Receiver** to manage stock handling, goods receiving, and basic accounting functions at the store level.
The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, verifying deliveries, and supporting daily cash handling activities.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate **inventory records and stock entries** in the system
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Ensure proper **stock rotation (FIFO)** and minimize wastage
- Conduct regular **stock counts and audits**
- Receive goods from suppliers and verify **quantity, quality, and invoices**
- Ensure all received items are properly recorded and stored
- Coordinate with suppliers for any **damages or shortages**
- Assist in **daily cash receiving and handling**
- Support **cash closing and reconciliation** with POS reports
- Maintain records of **sales, purchases, and expenses**
- Prepare and manage **invoices, receipts, and vouchers**
- Assist in basic **accounting and documentation** similar to a shop accountant
- Prepare daily inventory and operational reports
- Maintain proper **filing and documentation** of all records
- Support management with **audit and reporting requirements**
Requirements
- +2 or above / Diploma in Commerce or related field preferred
- Minimum **1–2 years experience** in inventory, warehouse, or retail store operations
- Basic knowledge of **accounting and stock management**
- Familiarity with **MS Excel and POS systems**
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced supermarket environment
- Ability to communicate in English and Malayalam
- Male candidates prefer.
