Role Description
The Inventory Control Specialist & sales role at DODO FURNITURES is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.
The specialist will monitor stock levels daily, update inventory records in the system, and reconcile physical counts with system data to maintain accurate inventory.
This role includes coordinating shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring items are properly labeled, stored, and tracked.
The specialist will investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, support regular and cycle counts, and collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to optimize stock availability.
The position also involves preparing inventory reports, suggesting process improvements, and adhering to safety and quality standards in the warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management and sales product, with experience maintaining accurate stock records and supporting warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Inventory Accuracy and Physical Inventory processes, including conducting cycle counts and full stock audits.
- Hands-on experience in Shipping & Receiving, including verification of shipments, documentation, and coordination with logistics providers.
- Comfort using inventory or ERP software, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools to track and analyze stock data.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities for resolving discrepancies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, including standing, moving, and handling inventory in a warehouse or storage environment.
- Prior experience in furniture, retail, logistics, or warehousing is an advantage; a relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Must can speak Chinese & English.
