Inventory and Procurement Executive MTS

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain SKU inventory records and monitor receiving, transfers, dispatches, returns, damage, and adjustments.
• Coordinate stock planning across procurement, sales, warehouse, logistics, and operations.
• Prepare purchase requests; follow up with suppliers and track local and international orders through delivery.
• Compare supplier pricing and assist with import documentation.
• Conduct audits, cycle counts, and physical checks; reconcile system and physical stock.
• Prepare inventory, procurement, ageing, and reorder reports and support forecasting.
• Oversee receiving, storage, labelling, dispatch, warehouse organization, and safe storage.
• Resolve delivery, shortage, damage, and pricing issues; support process improvements and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in inventory, procurement, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination.
• Experience with high-volume inventory and multiple product categories.
• Knowledge of ERP or inventory systems such as Zoho Inventory, Zoho Books, Odoo, SAP, WMS, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including reports, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Understanding of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, GRN, stock transfers, and reconciliation.
• English communication skills; Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is an advantage.
• UAE import/export procedure knowledge and relevant retail or distribution experience are advantageous or preferred.

Preferred skills

• Inventory forecasting, reorder planning, supplier evaluation, and procurement comparison.
• Warehouse layout, stock organization, SKU creation, product database management, cost control, and purchase price monitoring.
