We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our team in Oman.
This role involves utilizing advanced imaging techniques to perform diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive procedures.
You will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes by providing expert interventional radiology services within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a diverse range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, biopsies, and drainages
- Interpret diagnostic imaging to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures, potential risks, and expected outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions
- Stay updated with the latest developments in interventional radiology and actively participate in continuing medical education
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Radiology
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in Oman
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in interventional radiology
- Proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures and imaging modalities
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
