Internship - Software Engineer In Test (MOD)

Education and experience

• Currently pursuing Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics.
• Required technical skills, knowledge and abilities:
• Knowledge of operating system, relational database, concurrent computing, client/server architecture
• Experience in Linux/Unix testing environment
• Knowledge of software lifecycle and quality engineering methodology
• Good numerical analysis and logic thinking skills
• Hands on experience with one of programming languages: Python, C/C++, Java, Perl or shell scripting
• Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• Ability to excel in cross functional, team environment
• Experience with AI Agent-based testing, evaluation, or automation is a plus
• Familiar with GIT(Bitbucket), JIRA, Confluence is a plus

Responsibilities

• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $18.00/hr - $57.00/hr. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
