Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and reviewing financial statements, regulatory reports, and supporting documentation.
- Collect and validate data, perform reconciliations, and help ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis, and variance analysis.
- Prepare summaries or presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance colleagues and maintain organized records.
- Learn best practices in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Finance, Statistics, or Financial Reporting are expected.
- Analytical skills, financial planning abilities, professional communication, attention to detail, integrity, and collaboration are important.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting principles, regulatory frameworks, and financial statements is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools is advantageous.
- Interest in Qatar regulatory requirements and regional financial practices is a plus.
