• In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping students’ career journeys by coordinating impactful internship placements, working closely with employers and academic teams, and supporting students every step of the way, from placement to completion.

• Roles and Responsibilities
• As Internship Coordinator, you will:
• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end internship placement process, ensuring alignment with academic requirements and timelines
• Act as the primary point of contact for employers, responding to queries and supporting positive partner relationships
• Support students in understanding internship requirements, documentation, and process expectations
• Liaise with academic schools to promote internship opportunities and ensure consistent communication across programs
• Conduct structured follow-ups with employers to confirm placements, monitor progress, and capture internship outcomes
• Track, evaluate, and report on internship data to support KPIs and Ministry of Education reporting
• Plan and support internship-related workshops and career events to enhance student readiness
• Maintain accurate records and update the Careers System with internship documentation, status updates, and outcomes

Working Environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Higher Education, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in career services, internship coordination, student employability, recruitment support, or a related field
• Experience working in higher education or industry-facing roles (highly desirable)
• Proven experience coordinating structured internship or placement programs
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with external partners
