The Position
Agro-Rio Qatar is expanding its cross-border agricultural trade and supply networks across the region.
We are bringing on an International Tax Manager to manage our corporate tax structuring, transfer pricing frameworks, and cross-border commercial compliance from our Al Rayyan Road office.
This role demands a high-level tax specialist who understands how to protect corporate margins against shifting international regulations.
You will take the lead on minimizing global tax exposure while keeping our import, export, and corporate entities fully aligned with both Qatari tax laws and global treaties.
Core Responsibilities
- Formulate and maintain the group's international tax strategy, ensuring full compliance with OECD guidelines, BEPS regulations, and local laws.
- Oversee the end-to-end transfer pricing lifecycle, including documentation, intercompany agreements, and functional analyses for cross-border transactions.
- Manage corporate tax filings, withholding tax obligations, and local Qatari tax submissions in collaboration with external advisors.
- Evaluate the tax implications of new corporate ventures, supply chain re-routing, and international commercial contracts.
- Serve as the primary internal contact for tax audits, risk mitigation structures, and regular financial reporting updates for executive leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- 8 to 12 years of professional tax experience, with a heavy focus on international corporate taxation, corporate restructuring, or transfer pricing within a major multinational or a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Deep expertise in GCC tax frameworks, international tax treaties, and emerging global digital/corporate tax regulations.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a track record of translating complex tax codes into clear commercial strategies.
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law—active professional certifications such as a CTA, CPA, or ADIT are highly preferred.
