Role Overview
Wycon Cosmetics' Product & Marketing Department, based in Dubai, UAE, is looking for an International Product Specialist with a strong passion for cosmetics and product innovation.
The successful candidate will support the development of new makeup collections, contributing to the product development process from concept to launch in collaboration with international suppliers and cross-functional teams.
The role requires a strong understanding of market trends, product innovation, and product development activities to help deliver commercially competitive products aligned with the brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the development of new makeup collections from concept to market launch,
- ensuring alignment with brand positioning and commercial objectives.
- Translate market trends and consumer insights into clear product briefs for international suppliers.
- Work on the end-to-end product development process with external manufacturers, monitoring
- timelines, deliverables, and product quality.
- Evaluate product samples, textures, shades, packaging solutions, and overall product performance, providing structured feedback to suppliers.
- Identify and scout new suppliers, technologies, packaging solutions, and product innovations to
- strengthen the brand's product portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, coordinating development
- activities and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and white
- spaces within the beauty category.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Regulatory, Purchasing, and Creative teams to ensure successful product launches.
What We'Re Looking For
- Proven experience in product development within the cosmetics industry, preferably in makeup.
- Strong knowledge of the global beauty market, product trends, and leading international brands.
- Experience working with external manufacturers (OEM/ODM) and international suppliers.
- Ability to evaluate product samples and translate business needs into actionable product
- development briefs.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, analytical, and results-oriented mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
