Overview
The Specialist– Internal Medicine is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
The role involves providing high-quality, evidence-based care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical care to adult patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disorders, cardiovascular conditions, and infectious diseases.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform medical procedures within the scope of Internal Medicine practice.
- Provide consultation services to other departments when required.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in line with UAE healthcare regulations.
