Internal Business Analyst (Operations, Process Improvement & Automation)

Role overview

What you'll do

• Work hands-on across teams to understand how work moves before changing processes.
• Find inefficient, inconsistent, or failing processes and diagnose why they break down.
• Recommend practical fixes and build or implement them through process changes, documentation, or lightweight automation.
• Document key processes and institutional knowledge.
• Partner with leadership and team leads to turn priorities into operational improvements.
• Use CRM, spreadsheets, and lightweight automation or AI tools such as Zapier, Make, Claude, Gemini, or Google Apps Script as needed.

What you'll bring

• At least 1 year of experience in operations, business analysis, process improvement, or a similar hands-on role; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Curiosity about how processes work and ability to diagnose root causes.
• Comfort using or quickly learning CRM, spreadsheet, and lightweight automation or AI tools.
• Excellent written communication and ability to document processes and present recommendations.
• Organization, reliability, attention to detail, and diplomatic cross-team communication.
• Initiative, independence, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Willingness to handle a varied mix of process improvement and administrative tasks.

Compensation

• The posted compensation range is $45,000-$60,000 per year.
• The opportunity may be structured as a salaried position with bonus eligibility or as an hourly contract engagement, including 1099 arrangements; final engagement type is determined based on role and business factors.
