About This Role
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing risk-based internal audits, including process walkthroughs, testing, and documentation of results.
- Perform risk assessments across business units and support periodic risk reviews.
- Analyse business processes, identify control gaps, and assess exposure to key risks.
- Prepare clear, concise audit working papers, reports, and presentations.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
- Support fraud awareness initiatives and assist in investigations when required.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to gather information, validate findings, and support risk and control improvements.
- Apply technical knowledge and professional judgement to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by management.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document processes, risks, and controls clearly and accurately.
