Job summary
Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, governance processes, and compliance.
Support organizational objectives through audits, improvement recommendations, and adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across business functions and processes.
- Assess internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
- Monitor corrective actions and follow up on audit observations.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in developing annual audit plans and risk assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least five years of internal audit experience within an insurance company.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, internal controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
- CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
