the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The company is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen
governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks across its regional operations.
This role provides independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls,
operational processes, and compliance standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in
identifying risks, improving control environments, and supporting operational transparency across
manufacturing sites.

Reports to:
Main Responsibilities
- Audit planning and risk assessment
- Develop and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan covering operations across the UAE
- and KSA.
- Identify and assess key operational, financial, and business risks across manufacturing processes.
- Define audit scope, objectives, and evaluation criteria for each engagement.
- Coordinate audit planning with process owners and senior leadership.
- Audit execution and control testing
- Perform audit procedures including interviews, documentation reviews, walkthroughs, and control
- testing.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance
- processes.
- Conduct substantive testing and control assessments to identify weaknesses and improvement
- opportunities.
- Use audit software and data analytics tools to analyze data sets and detect anomalies.
- Operational and manufacturing audits
- Audit production, inventory management, procurement, and quality control processes.
- Review cost controls, material movement, waste, and physical inventory practices.
- Evaluate segregation of duties, authorization controls, and asset safeguarding procedures.
- Assess the reliability and integrity of operational reporting.
- Reporting and follow-up
- Prepare clear audit reports with findings, root causes, risks, and practical recommendations.
- Present audit findings to management and senior leadership.
- Track corrective action plans and verify timely implementation of agreed improvements.
- Maintain complete and accurate working papers in line with audit standards.
- Compliance and governance
- Assess compliance with company policies, internal control frameworks, and applicable regulations.
- Support investigations related to fraud, irregularities, or policy breaches when required.
- Promote a strong culture of ethics, compliance, and internal control across the organization.
- Maintain independence, confidentiality, and objectivity throughout all audit engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CMA is preferred (or actively being pursued).
- 7–10 years of experience in internal audit or risk advisory.
- Proven experience conducting audit procedures including interviews, document reviews, and
- control testing.
- Big 4 internal audit / risk advisory experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) is highly preferred.
- Manufacturing sector experience, particularly exposure to production, inventory, and quality
- control environments, is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and internal control
- frameworks such as COSO.
- Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and compliance-related systems.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to maintain independence, discretion, and professional skepticism in sensitive situations.
- Willingness to travel regularly between UAE and KSA sites.
- Fluent English.
