Role Responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead audits covering finance, operations, compliance, procurement, and business processes.
• Assess internal controls, identify control gaps, and recommend practical improvements.
• Perform risk assessments and evaluate policy and procedure effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed reports covering findings, root causes, risks, and corrective actions.
• Present audit results and improvement recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor management action plans and follow up on audit recommendations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, compliance teams, and other assurance functions.
• Support investigations, special reviews, and ad hoc risk assessments.
• Lead and develop internal audit team members while maintaining professional audit standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Six or more years of experience in internal audit, risk management, accounting, or assurance.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, audit methodologies, and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, audit management systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• CIA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, or an equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
• UAE or GCC business experience is highly valued.
