Internal Accountant

About This Role

Key Responsibilities of the Internal Accountant:

* Calculate monthly sales commissions accurately and in a timely manner, with strict deadlines (no later than the 5th of each month), ensuring alignment with internal policies and approved compensation structures

* Prepare detailed commission reports for management, including breakdowns, justifications, and supporting data

* Manage payroll processing through the WPS (Wage Protection System), ensuring full compliance with UAE regulations and timely salary disbursement

* Prepare, review, and issue client invoices, ensuring accuracy of amounts, contract terms, and payment schedules

* Monitor incoming payments, follow up on outstanding receivables, and maintain proper reconciliation of accounts

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and supported by documentation

* Support monthly closing procedures, including preparation of internal financial reports and analysis for management

* Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies

* Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, management) to verify financial data and resolve discrepancies

* Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, as part of daily interaction with team members, clients, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Internal Accountant, preferably within a consulting or service-based company in Dubai

* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with WPS payroll processing (mandatory)

* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability

* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

* Strong English communication skills (mandatory)

* Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
