Internship with the Technical Services team supporting planning processes for mining operations.
The role provides exposure to operational planning, business decision-making, and technology used in modern mining.
Internship duration is January through April 2027.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve planning tools.
- Support business reporting and analyze data.
- Collaborate with corporate and site stakeholders.
- Help streamline workflows, evaluate digital collaboration tools, and contribute to mining studies.
- Learn production planning, mine planning concepts, reporting processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
Job Qualifications
- Be enrolled full-time in a Mining Engineering or Computer Engineering program.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking, communication skills, organization, adaptability, and initiative.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Deswik or MineSight experience is an asset.
- Finance or Commerce coursework is an asset.
Salary Range
- Salary range is CAD $22 to $31; no pay cadence is specified.
Work Location
- Work location is Toronto Head Office.
