Intern, Finance (3 Months Internship Contract)

Role Duration

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance team with day-to-day Accounts Payable activities.
• Receive, process, and verify vendor invoices accurately and post them in SAP promptly.
• Ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms based on reconciled statements of account, cash availability, and approved payment plans.
• Verify supplier bank-account changes through established controls to prevent fraudulent or duplicate payments.
• Reconcile intercompany Accounts Payable balances before each month-end close.
• Conduct Accounts Payable aging analysis and vendor reconciliations; monitor aging and manage overdue balances exceeding 120 days.
• Respond to vendor and internal department queries about payments and invoices.
• Complete timely month-end closing of the Accounts Payable module and comply with company policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
• Assist with finance projects and other assignments as directed by the Finance Manager.
