Role Summary
The Communication Intern will support the team in various communication-related tasks, including research, content development, story pitching, preparing presentations, and completing assignments as requested by the direct supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Organize bi-weekly meetings between clients and APCO team members
- Take meeting minutes and share accurate reports with relevant stakeholders
- Draft basic content pieces for PR and social media channels
- Complete administrative tasks such as research and email correspondence
- Maintain client communication via email and phone on routine matters
- Prepare coverage reports, weekly and monthly summaries
- Create PowerPoint presentations for internal and client use
- Support ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Account Director
- **Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or senior student in Mass Communication, Public Relations, International Relations, Marketing, or related field
- Strong writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Full-time availability for the internship period
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Internship duration: 3 months, extendable up to 6 months based on business needs
