Qualifications

  • Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and oral communication).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Experience with mine planning and design software is an asset (ex. Hexagon Minesight, Deswik)
  • Work experience in mining or resource industries is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mining engineering.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and satisfactory Driver's Abstract, per Stantec's Safe Driving Policy.
  • Eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC).
  • This position may have additional qualification requirements depending on work assignments. Additional qualifications will be defined in Project Specific Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Plans.
