About the role
HippoDigital is recruiting an Intermediate Business Analyst to provide business analysis services to clients as an intermediate consultant.
The role works in multidisciplinary teams delivering bespoke digital services for public- and private-sector clients.
The analyst translates complex business problems and user needs into clear instructions for services and products.
Role responsibilities
- Analyse problems and recommend service and product improvements, giving clear advice.
- Plan and run workshops, build relationships and align stakeholders on goals.
- Document and analyse business processes to identify efficiency improvements.
- Gather and clarify project requirements and translate them into clear team instructions.
- Work with Product Owners and Delivery Managers to track planned work.
- Support product testing to check that products work for users.
- Collaborate with designers and product owners to deliver useful digital products and services.
Essential experience
- Experience in business analysis and Agile projects.
- Ability to analyse information from different sources and recommend actions.
- Experience with different modelling approaches and choosing appropriate methods.
- Experience working with designers and understanding how user research informs requirements.
- Ability to communicate findings to project teams using facts and evidence.
Desirable experience
- Using data to support clear thinking and decision-making is desirable.
- Project-plan prioritisation experience is desirable.
- Experience influencing design decisions, such as user research methods or product appearance, is desirable.
