Role Description

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect interior fit-out works on site to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, materials, and authority requirements.
• Review approved shop drawings and material submittals prior to site implementation.
• Inspect and verify approved materials delivered to site through the MIR process before installation.
• Conduct routine site inspections and monitor workmanship quality across all interior finishing activities.
• Attend Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) together with the Contractor’s QA/QC team and release inspections in accordance with project procedures.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for non-compliant works and follow up on corrective actions and rectifications.
• Issue Site Observation Reports (SORs) where works deviate from approved drawings, specifications, or quality standards.
• Review method statements from a site execution and constructability perspective.
• Monitor site progress and report status updates to the Project Manager and Resident Engineer.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve site-related technical and quality issues.
• Verify completed work quantities and support the certification process for contractor payment applications.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, HSE requirements, and site supervision procedures.
• Maintain proper inspection records, reports, and documentation throughout the project duration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in interior fit-out inspection and site supervision.
• UAE experience is a must.
• Proven experience on high-rise residential projects is highly preferred.
• Previous consultancy supervision experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing works, materials, shop drawings and site coordination processes.
• Good understanding of MIR, WIR, NCR, and SOR procedures.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and HSE requirements on construction sites.
