Site supervision
- Supervise daily interior fit-out work and organize workers, technicians, and subcontractors for efficient workflow and timely task completion.
- Monitor civil, architectural, and finishing work, including gypsum, flooring, painting, joinery, ceilings, and related activities.
- Interpret drawings, coordinate with engineers, project management, and other trades, and help resolve site issues and avoid delays.
Quality, materials, and safety
- Inspect completed work for quality, finishing, and compliance; identify execution problems and coordinate solutions with the engineering team.
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment; coordinate material requirements and report daily progress, work completion, manpower needs, and schedule issues.
- Ensure site safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
- Follow up on snagging and rectification for timely project completion and handover.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out site supervision, including supervising site workers and subcontractors.
- Understand architectural drawings, finishing details, construction methods, and fit-out work such as gypsum, ceilings, flooring, painting, and joinery.
- Organize daily site activities, allocate tasks, monitor progress, communicate and coordinate effectively, and identify finishing defects.
- Basic knowledge of site safety, material handling, and quality control; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
