Role overview

Drawing production and coordination

• Prepare architectural, interior fit-out and joinery shop drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, details and setting-out drawings.
• Detail ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, doors, furniture and joinery works; prepare as-built drawings from completed site works.
• Take measurements and quantities from approved drawings and BOQs.
• Coordinate drawings with site engineers, project managers, the joinery factory and production teams; coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to prevent clashes.
• Review drawings for technical discrepancies, revise them to meet project needs, and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Maintain drawing, revision and submission records, and assist site teams with technical drawing requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Fit-out Draftsman.
• AutoCAD knowledge and understanding of architectural and interior fit-out drawings are required.
• Experience with shop, detail, setting-out and as-built drawings is required.
• Knowledge of joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors and interior materials is required.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP and technical drawings, and knowledge of measurements, quantities and BOQs.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and coordination skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• UAE experience in interior fit-out and construction projects is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
