Interior Designer

Hiring: Interior Designer – Al-Ihsan Charity Association

Responsibilities

• Design and plan interior layouts for offices, community centers, and charitable facilities
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting that balance aesthetics, durability, and budget
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards to communicate design concepts
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and procurement to ensure designs are executed accurately and on schedule
• Manage multiple small-to-medium projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on organizational needs
• Ensure designs comply with safety, accessibility, and local building regulations
• Source cost-effective solutions and negotiate with vendors to make the most of a non-profit budget

Requirements

• ✅ 3–5 years of hands-on experience in interior design (mid-level)
• ✅ Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Revit; rendering tools (e.g.
• Enscape, V-Ray, or Lumion) are a plus
• ✅ Strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects (residential, commercial, or institutional)
• ✅ Solid understanding of materials, lighting, ergonomics, and space planning principles
• ✅ Ability to manage vendors and contractors, and to work within tight, mission-driven budgets
• ✅ Good communication and project coordination skills
• ✅ A genuine interest in contributing to a charitable, community-focused mission
• ✅ A portfolio file showcasing past work must be attached together with the CV
