Responsibilities
- Identify and document project interfaces across stakeholders, systems, processes, and deliverables.
- Develop interface management plans, matrices, and registers to track dependencies, requirements, and responsibilities.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to resolve interface issues and align stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for interface inquiries, issues, and escalations.
- Establish communication channels and protocols for accurate information exchange.
- Assess interface risks and dependencies; develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Manage interface changes, evaluate their effects, and coordinate implementation.
- Implement quality assurance processes and conduct audits, inspections, and reviews.
- Maintain interface records and prepare project reports, updates, and presentations.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of progressive interface management experience in construction, focused on large-scale hospitality projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in interface management methodologies, tools, and software applications.
- Sound judgment, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage pressure, priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Project management or interface management certifications such as PMP, PfMP, or CIPM are advantageous.
- Experience in a PMC environment or with hospitality clients.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
