Interface Manager

Role purpose

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the program Interface Management Framework, plans, procedures, registers, governance, reporting requirements, and escalation protocols.
• Standardize processes for identifying, tracking, managing, and closing interfaces across project packages.
• Manage interfaces among development packages, infrastructure systems, utilities, stakeholders, government authorities, permitting agencies, and third parties.
• Maintain the Program Interface Register and resolve interface obligations, dependencies, risks, constraints, and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate utility connections, diversions, permits, approvals, and statutory compliance with providers and authorities.
• Integrate planning and scheduling, design, technical, commercial, construction, project controls, and risk management functions.
• Assess interface impacts on scope, schedule, cost, quality, and program performance; mitigate risks and escalate critical issues.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and recommendations for PMCM management and the client.
• Lead coordination meetings, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional reviews to support timely resolution and communication.
• Promote continuous improvement and support PMIS, EDMS, and digital collaboration tool implementation.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Urban Development, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Professional membership or equivalent professional accreditation.
• At least 15 years of experience in interface management, infrastructure delivery, utilities, transportation, land or urban development, or major capital projects.
• Experience in PMCM, PMC, EPCM, client-side organizations, or major infrastructure delivery programs.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
• Saudi nationality is preferred.
