Role overview
An intern will join Enverus Intelligence Research with a focus on power markets.
The intern will work with engineers, financial analysts, and geologists to maintain data integrity, analyze trends, and publish actionable investment research.
The full-time role is based out of the Calgary office for a 12-month term beginning in January 2027.
Performance objectives
- Aggregate, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, value assets, and analyze market activity using internal Enverus Prism workflows.
- Update and improve proprietary databases covering well production, renewable projects, and financial data.
- Join client and prospect calls and use or demonstrate Enverus Intelligence and Enverus Core solutions to help answer energy industry and investor questions.
- Maintain forecasting models using SEC filings, investor documents, transcripts, press releases, and government and industry datasets.
Candidate qualifications
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; proficiency with Python and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with programming concepts for managing and analyzing large, complex datasets.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated passion for the energy sector.
