About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Integration Engineer to join a healthcare digitalization project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
You will work directly alongside the client's IT team to build, integrate, and launch systems on the ground, configuring infrastructure, wiring up integrations, and making technical decisions in real time.
This is an execution-first role: we need someone who gets things done, not just designed.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure considered)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Design and implement system integrations (REST APIs, message queues, webhooks, and where relevant, healthcare protocols such as HL7/FHIR)
- Work directly with the client's IT team to launch and stabilize systems in their environment
- Communicate technical decisions clearly to the client's IT team
- Collaborate with our internal DevOps engineer to extend capacity on the project
Requirements
- Cloud infrastructure - hands-on experience with GCP (Compute, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, BigQuery) or equivalent on AWS/Azure; you've built environments, not just used them
- CI/CD - can design and implement pipelines end-to-end (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar)
- Integrations - solid experience with REST APIs, async messaging (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka), and webhooks
- Databases - working knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (Firestore, Redis) databases; comfortable with data modeling and query optimization
- Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT
- Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare IT - EHR systems, HL7/FHIR, DICOM, patient data regulations
- Full-stack awareness - able to read and review frontend and backend code, understand the full system, and spot integration issues across the stack
