We’re looking for a skilled
Integration & API Architect
to lead the design and governance of modern integration frameworks across a large-scale, multi-vendor digital ecosystem.
If you’re passionate about API-first design, event-driven architecture, and building seamless interoperability—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- You will define and standardize integration patterns that enable scalable, secure, and reusable connectivity across platforms and services:
- Establish integration reference architecture covering APIs, events, and messaging patterns
- Define and enforce API governance (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, versioning, lifecycle management)
- Design secure API access models (OIDC, mTLS, token scopes, rate limiting, quotas)
- Drive event-driven architecture standards (topics, schemas, retries, DLQs, idempotency)
- Define data contract practices (schema validation, contract testing, CI integration)
- Implement resiliency patterns (timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, caching)
- Govern API gateways and integration runtimes, enabling API productization
- Lead onboarding of vendors and solutions into integration frameworks
- Provide architecture assurance through design reviews and implementation validation
- Support operational excellence with monitoring, SLAs/SLOs, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in integration architecture or enterprise engineering
- Deep expertise in API design (REST, async, streaming) and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of event-driven and messaging architectures
- Experience implementing API governance and integration standards at scale
- Solid understanding of API security and data protection in regulated environments
- Proven ability to work across multiple vendors and stakeholders
