Intake Coordinator - Behavioral Health - Remote (Must Reside in NM or TX)

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including mental status examinations and diagnostic evaluations.

Determine medical necessity and appropriate levels of behavioral health care.

Provide crisis intervention, triage services, and short-term support during urgent situations.

Coordinate referrals to internal and external behavioral health and community resources.

Serve as the primary point of contact for new client inquiries and service requests.

Complete intake screenings, registration processes, and required documentation.

Provide active case management and follow-up to ensure successful connection to services.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support positive client outcomes.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

Participate in outreach, community education, and performance improvement activities.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

Minimum of Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Current independent New Mexico licensure as an LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPAT.

Minimum of three years of experience in the mental health treatment field.

At least one year of assessment, intake, or triage experience.

Must reside in New Mexico or Texas.
