Overview

**Ferdows Medical Center** is looking for a highly organized and experienced **Insurance Coordinator** to join our team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE medical and health insurance processes, excellent communication skills, and experience coordinating insurance approvals, claims, and patient coverage verification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify patients' insurance eligibility and coverage prior to appointments and treatments.
  • Process pre-authorizations, approvals, and insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding approvals, claim submissions, rejections, and follow-ups.
  • Review and ensure accurate coding, billing, and documentation for insurance purposes.
  • Resolve insurance-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Educate patients regarding insurance coverage, benefits, and payment responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions and communications.
  • Collaborate with doctors, reception staff, and billing departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay updated on UAE insurance policies, regulations, and payer requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum **3–5 years of experience** as an Insurance Coordinator, Medical Insurance Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong experience with **UAE medical and health insurance companies, approvals, claims processing, and reimbursement procedures**.
  • Excellent understanding of insurance policies, eligibility verification, and claim management.
  • Experience working in a medical center, clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, medical software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with major UAE insurance providers and TPAs.
  • Knowledge of DHA regulations and healthcare billing procedures.
  • Familiarity with electronic claims submission systems.
  • Salary will be discussed during the interview.
